4. Engagement Terms

When a client and Kavari agree to proceed with a consulting engagement, the specific terms — including scope, deliverables, fees, timeline, and payment schedule — are set out in a separate engagement agreement or letter of engagement. Those terms, taken together with these Terms and Conditions, form the agreement between the parties.

In the absence of a specific engagement agreement, the following general terms apply:

• Fees are due as invoiced and payable within 14 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed
• Cancellation or postponement of a confirmed engagement with less than five business days' notice may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the agreed engagement fee
• Kavari reserves the right to decline or withdraw from an engagement where the working environment prevents the work from being carried out effectively

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, layout, graphics, and structural design — is owned by Kavari or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law.

Deliverables produced during a consulting engagement (such as written reports and session summaries) are provided to the client for their internal use. Kavari retains the right to use anonymised learnings and methodologies from engagements for its own practice development, provided that no client-identifying information is disclosed.

6. Confidentiality

Any information shared with Kavari in the course of an engagement will be treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without the client's consent, except as required by law. We expect the same discretion from clients with respect to any proprietary materials or working methods shared by Kavari during the engagement.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kavari's liability in connection with any engagement or use of this website is limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.

Kavari is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from the use of our services or website, including but not limited to lost profits, business interruption, or decisions made in reliance on advisory outputs.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
